Well this September Ahu releases her first single ‘To Love’ (which you can download here for free) on Paul Whites One Handed Music label.

There’s also a quirky but excellent Dimlite remix which sees him excel yet again. This won’t be released until mid September so in the meantime be sure to check out the mesmerizing video (and free download) which uses some dope Czech animation. Pure heartfelt music and emotion from Ahu yet again.

Teebs who hails from the mighty Brainfeeder crew out of L.A is a 23 year old visual artist and musician who has been releasing some stunning artwork and music presently (check the Mary Anne Hobbs- Wild Angels Compilation and The Tropics E.P which can be streamed from here) and is set to drop his debut LP entitled ‘Ardour’ on the Brainfeeder label this year – October 19th to be precise. Flying Lotus has described Teebs’ music as sounding “the way ‘Avatar’ looks” and it seems that he is one of L.A’s brightest prospects. Its no wonder then that ‘Ardours’ has been described by The Los Angeles Times as one of the most ‘anticipated records within the Los Angeles beat community‘. While it’s just over a year now that the King of Pop passed away, his first anniversary remembrance was on Friday 25th June this year and to honor that the good people over at SoulBounce have been commemorating and celebrating Michael Jacksons musical legacy this summer. Ghostpoet is certainly one of these people. He’s even ventured into dangerous territory by remixing a Tribe Called Quest classic – Electric Relaxation and his take on it is pretty special indeed. Reigning from Great Britain this young inventive MC has been making a lot of noise recently with tracks like “Longing for the night” which you can currently download for free along with 3 other tracks of his.

Definitely an artist to keep an eye out for in these troubled hip hop days and one who may give us the boost we all need to rejuvenate our love for the genre. Ghostpoet has those bona fide skills yall….
