Edan the Deejay announces 2 Irish launch parties in conjunction with his seminal Echo Party mix release on 5 Day Weekend. Check this trailer from this innovative mix from the talented Mr. Portnoy. Travelling with Edan will be Ricky Powell who will be showing a slideshow from the 1980′s cocaine fuelled party scene in New York and we will also be showing the full short of the visual accompaniment toÂ Echo Party.

ChoiceCuts favourite Edan releases this mouth watering mix Echo Party on UK indie label Five Day Weekend this coming November. Given the green light to sift through the Traffic Groups collection of label back-catalogues(eg..P&P, Magic Records, Chocolate Star).

What was intended to be a mixtape has morphed into a multi-tracked masterpiece, where Edan replays instruments and all sorts throughout this ground breaking collage. Edan is playing ATP in December; wonder will he stop by ChoiceCuts to showcase this mix perhaps? we can only speculate! Either way, this is splendid news.
