Darondo sounds like a mix between Curtis Mayfield and Al Green, his Ubiquity release from two years back with the peerless ‘Didn’t I’ included certainly caught the interest of the music buying public who slept on him the first time he came out. A colourful character from California’s Bay Area, he was off the radar for about 25 years and came back to prominence via his Let My People Go Lp on Ubiquity…which we highly recommend, nice one JB for the video…hope you like
