Started by a group of friends up in the North of England that included Simply Red singer Mick Hucknall, Blood & Fire raised the bar for quality reissued reggae releases that had the blessings of the original artists and studios. The image above relates to one of the best reggae compilations to be created and was a tribute to reggae artists covering US soul tracks, if you haven’t clocked it already, you really need it. But that is not all, this label has pearls and gems galore and has a very high quality control on all its releases.
