The widely lauded vocalist and musician Jose James is starting to get the hype machine rolling for his imminent second release on Brownswood scheduled for October 26th titled Black Magic. Fly Lo is behind the boards for some of the tracks so expect something truly soulful. Jose cites Billie Holiday, John Coltrane and Marvin Gaye as his influences. Searching to find the perfect sound, Jose is fusing Hip Hip, Soul, Blues, Funk and Jazz  styles into a sound all his own.
