"True love is just a stones throw away..."

A little late on this one, but better late than never! Soul man Lee Fields is back again and set to release his next album, Faithful Man, on March 13th. The bluesy “You’re The Kind of Girl,” Faithful Man‘s lead single, pays homage to the traditional soul music that put Fields on the map. Lee describes “You’re The Kind of Girl” as “a song that honors women because they should be honored. When a person meets that special someone, everything is easy from that point. True love is not a hard thing. When you meet the right person, it just happens.”

Fields thinks that “You’re The Kind of Girl” needs to be played for the special person in your life. “To everyone out there in search of that special someone, or who wants to tell their special someone what they mean to them, play that song,” he says. “You know what I’m trying to say? Don’t say nothing ’cause you might talk yourself out of it,” Fields suggests. “Just let the song play and leave it at that.”
